Holy Family Academy of Bayonne

The Mothers' Club of Holy Family Academy brings together the mothers of the students for the purpose of giving ongoing support to the school.

The Mothers' Club is also social in its involvement, encouraging mother and daughter activities. The Mother-Daughter Christmas Party is a favorite annual event. The Mothers' Club also sponsors HFA's Annual Father-Daughter Dinner Dance, something special that supports closer ties between father and daughter.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, mixing business with pleasure. This is an excellent way for people with something in common - the education and healthy development of their daughters - to meet and share.

HFA's Alumni Mothers' Guild is an offshoot of the HFA Mothers' Club. It originated in the 70's with a group of mothers whose daughters had graduated from Holy Family Academy. These women quite naturally wanted to keep up the friendships they had made while having been active in the Mothers' Club, and also to continue to support the efforts of Holy Family Academy to give a quality education to each and every one of its students.

The HFA Alumni Mothers' Guild is not as large a group as the Mothers' Club itself, but its members are quite active, meeting in the school each month from September to May. Once each year the Guild hosts its Annual Card Party which is a very popular event in the city of Bayonne. It has also proven to be a great financial success, as well as a social one.

The Holy Family Academy Alumni Mothers' Guild is always open to have new members join this social and school-supporting group.
