VISIONS Gala

Holy Family's annual summer luncheon was held at Doolan's in Spring Lake on July 8, 2006.  On July 10, 2006, HFA held the Sister Joan O'Donnell Memorial Golf Invitational at Suneagles Golf Club at Fort Monmouth.

Great Expectations, Holy Family Academy's annual auction held at Mayfair Farms on April 7, 2006 was a rousing success! Chairperson Alicia Flynn Cotter and her committee, Fina Barberi, Anne Fitzsimmons, Trish O'Connor Hansen, Dolores Hudacko, Barbara Kosinski, Irene Quigly Hurley, Terry McGuckin, Helen McNulty, Helen O'Connell, Monica Limon Pease, Marie Dabrowski Pelegrini, Conchita DiBernardo Smith, Ann Marie Mangelli Tatte and Tracey Hundley Taylor, worked enthusiastically over the last few months to ensure a great evening. The auction was held to benefit the scholarship and financial aid fund for the students.

The ticketed and silent auction prizes included theater and sports tickets; certificates for dinners and children's parties; vacation get-aways in Aruba, Seaside Heights, the Renault Winery and New York City; gift baskets, spa treatments, jewelry and designer clothing, original art work, cooking classes and many other valuable gifts. A complete list of donors and prizes can be found on the website, www.hfa.bayonne.net.

In addition to the auctioned items, raffle tickets were sold in advance as well as that evening for a $5000 travel voucher purchased from Four Seasons Travel. The winner, respected businesswoman and community leader Ginger Kemp, generously donated her prize back to Holy Family for the benefit of the scholarship and financial aid fund. An evening of fun and laughter was highlighted by the generosity of all our donors and the joy of the students who ultimately benefit.
