ACADRAFFLE
What is an Acadraffle? The Acadraffle is a 50/50 raffle than runs for fifteen weeks and has a winner each week. For the price of one raffle ticket, participants are entered into fifteen drawings!
Cost: The cost of the 2009-2010 Fall Acadraffle is $35 per ticket. CLICK HERE for the Acadraffle Form.
When is the drawing? The 2009-2010 Fall Acadraffle runs for fifteen weeks from November13, 2009 to March 12, 2010. The weekly winning number is drawn on Fridays (excluding holidays). Once a ticket has been drawn, it is returned to the drawing for the subsequent weeks.
Prize: The weekly prize is determined by the number of tickets sold. The weekly prize for the 2009-2010 Acadraffle is over $750.00.
Where does the money go? The funds earned from the Acadraffle is earmarked for solely for student activities. Each student is asked to sell a quota of four tickets. Students who sell tickets in excess of their quota gain credits that can be applied toward dances and other activities.
How do I know if I won? Acadraffle winners are personally notified. Any prize in excess of $600 requires a W-2G form. Minors are not eligible to participate.
Acadraffle winning numbers: The winning Acadraffles are drawn weekly and announced in school and published in the Bayonne Community News.
