Introduction to the Course of Studies
Selecting your academic program is an important responsibility and
should be done carefully and seriously. Before finalizing your decision there are
many aspects to consider: your talents, your ability, your goals and your needs.
Read this information carefully to see exactly what requirements you
must satisfy. Do not be content with the least that you must do, but aim for what is
best for you.
Consult your teachers so that you are knowledgeable about the courses
you select. Before you opt for a course, have a good idea of just how challenging it is.
Read each course description thoroughly.
Be realistic about your ability. Do not cheat yourself by settling
for something less challenging than you can handle. Do not challenge yourself beyond
your abilities in a course that is too difficult for you. Your teachers and guidance
counselor have your best interests at heart - ask for their assistance and respect
their suggestions.
